Subject: Elite Bug: SOLVED AT LAST!

Everyone,

My hunch about the Elite bug was right. After I declared a few variables
as short ints (instead of just ints), the Elite explosions behaved
themselves and White Knight played correctly.

I also increased the keyboard sampling rate by a factor of 2 and the
feel of Elite was much more akin to the real beeb feel than
before.
