Erm... I wonder...

As a point of irrelevance the Arc uses CTRL+SHIFT to stop text printing
to the
screen... And CTRL slows down text printing...

Maybe Acorn did this CTRL+SHIFT deliberatly...

Any slowdown on *any* other keys?
