CTRL+SHIFT stop text printing on the ole Beeb too, but the CTRL to slow
down the screen idea wasn't there. Prolly because you could read it all
anyhow. ;-)

Well, <break> slow mine down quite a bit. ;-)
Seriously though, I think holding down any keys will slow down the
machine to an equal extent. It's just that 99% of the time holding down
any key other than CTRL or SHIFT will actually do something and hence the
effect won't be noticed. As far as I know, the actual amount of code done
for each key is pretty similar.
As I say, I'm not sure about this. My BBC emulator has got a little stuck
at the keyboard stage and due to other projects, work, beer and women I
haven't managed to get much further.
