Nope. The keyboard is connected into it's own socket (the 5 pin DIN socket.

On the back of the computer there will be a 9 or 25 pin male adapter. This
is the serial socket.

Looks kinda like this:

 \ o o o o /       9 pin version
  ---------

 \ o o o o o o o o o o o o /    25 pin version
  -------------------------
