Subject: Keyboard problems

I have been working on a new BBC emulator for a little while now. Recently
I finally got the keyboard side of it working, or so I thought.
The problem I am experiencing now is to do with the Enter key. What happens
is:

1) If I press Enter as the first keystroke the emulator produces a carriage
return as it should. Then If I press Enter again or any other key it does
not output the keystroke.

2)  I can type in as many alpha or numeric characters as I like o.k. but as
soon as I press the Enter key, it and any subsequent keystrokes are not
processed by my emulator at all.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
