By the way, my program is ANSI C, so it should compile and run on most
architectures. I forgot to bring the samples today - tomorrow maybe.
I'll have to clean up the program a lot before I make it available.

Decoding is now quite fast, and seems to work fine with 22050 Hz samples
too (but not 11025 Hz). This morning I sampled one side at 44.1kHz (30
minutes - 79 MB) of a worn C-60 tape with my old sources, and decoded all
24 files in one go - only one CRC error! I am starting to think about
making this real-time, with live audio input, so that you can rewind the
moment you get a CRC error to fix it - like on the Beeb.

Does it produce output readable by a Beeb? That would be a nice utility
for people to transfer data from their PCs to their Beeb! Are you
planning on making it a full utility and releasing it? I'd be happy to
put such a thing on my page, as one user has already asked me if I knew of
such a program.
