Wow, weird! :-)

I don't remember this happening on my old (BASIC 1) BBC... but I 
can't remember trying it on my current BBC (BASIC 2). Maybe it's a 
bizarre BASIC 2 bug. At least it's not some subtle, lurking bug hiding in 
my code.
