Subject: Questions on BBC ROM image availability
OK, please feel free to add/alter the list of questions below.
I shall pass this list onto the person responsible for licensing
issues at lunchtime tomorrow (Wed 5th March).
Seeing as I've just got Dave Gibert's posting, I'll let him
start the questioning!

Questions regarding the availablilty of BBC ROM images
=====================================================
Question 1: (gilbertd@...)
Would be possible to have something less than publically available; for
example one thing I could think of would be allowing them to be ftp'd
from an Acorn ftp site in the same way as some of the software which
Acorn already makes available on there.
I would not expect Acorn to put the stuff into the public domain, however
issuing a statement that they would allow them to be used solely for
the purpose of emulators (on a non-commercial basis?) on a good will
basis would surely be easier; it would remain completely under Acorns
control and wouldn't raise issues as to the worth of the software
being released?
