Subject: Tom Seddon's BBC-Em

I thought users of BBC emulators may be interested to know I have tried
Watford Diagnostics on Tom's emulator and most things pass without
problem, even the sideways RAM if one edits the bbc.cfg file to include
RAM banks.

Things that fail are obvious hardware accesses like the user port,
printer port, speech etc., but the RAM test, screen test, keyboard test,
etc. all pass, which is a pretty good indicator of how compatible the
emulator is.

The OS1.2 ROM checksum fails, mainly because I suspect Tom has modified
the startup string at $&C304 to read "BBC Emulator 16K32K" instead of
"BBC Computer 16K32K". The Basic 2 cksum passes however, at &EC08.
IIRC, Basic I should be &FD03.

regards,
